Character Roundup

Josh WidhurstJoshua Widhurst...
is a quiet young man. Inquisitive and contemplative, he’d be happy as a professional student all his life, but his family's dwindling lumber fortune is forcing him to graduate from his beloved Nunumic University and fend for himself.
Throughout his small-town schooling, Josh was known as the token rich kid; a moniker he constantly tried to dissipate with thrift-bought clothes and a consciously cultivated, disheveled look. Coupled with outstanding grades in high school and his father's constant lessons in leadership, this made others see him as a wealthy, intellectual eccentric, bound for an eventual Howard Hughes-style breakdown.

Jen HolcolmeJennifer Holcolme...
is in love with living. As long as she or anyone can remember, her 'neutral' facial expression has been a soft, wide smile. Fostered by two warm, college professor parents, Jen has always been deluged with dusty and joyous information. Home schooled, she and her two younger sisters were so in love with books and old records that they didn’t realize television existed, until one of them happened upon the biography of Philo T. Farnsworth, it's inventor.

Audrey HolcolmeAudrey Holcolme...
is in love with living. As long as she or anyone can remember, her 'neutral' facial expression has been a wide-eyed, head-cocked stare. Her favorite question has always and forever been, "Why?" Never satisfied with the answers offered by her Seventh Day Adventist upbringing, Audrey has tried to seek her truths in other forms. Actions that were punished by cold ostracization.
At 16, with her self purchased car, she began to seek companionship in artists and college students, beginning her search for the moon at which the fingers point.

SarahSarah Lyonne...
dreams of becoming the freest spirit there can be, but feels she cannot because she's "trapped in a fragile shell of meat and goo". Existential and cynical from birth, she actually 'got' Kafka by the age of 9 and when chastised by her 10th grade drama teacher for 'shameless overacting', she quoted Diogenes in response, "Discourse on virtue and they pass by in droves. Whistle and dance the shimmy, and you've got an audience."
Disgusted by the thought of wasting any more time, she dropped out at the age of 15 and traveled the country for a decade, before settling in Oregon.

EricEric Murphy...
lives for attention. Throughout childhood, he made up stage shows that he'd perform in front of anyone who would watch... mainly Lottie the housekeeper, his parents both being local newscasters at a network affiliate, and thus forever absent.
After graduating college with a dual Masters in Theater and Business, he formed an erotic cabaret group called 'Osculum Infame', or Obscene Kiss, that quickly gained notoriety among the large local and regional arts scene. Bored with promiscuity and fearful of HIV, he decided to search for his soul mate.

LukeLucus "Ace" Wildfire
is and always has been the freest sprit there can be. Raised on a polygamist compound, in a 'village rears the children' environment, wild adventure and ingenuity were his life's tether to the Tao that is childhood.
Immensely resourceful and prepared for anything, Ace became mechanic, seamstress, handyman, and cook... all by the age of 16. The open environment fostered sex at an early age and Luke quickly became adept.
He traveled the world for ten years and at the age of 26, lonely and lost, returned to Oregon, searching for his soul mate.
